Hello everyone! So my planned reviews didn't exactly go that smoothly last week. I had to be smart and plan a bajillion things the week of Quarterly exams...so smart. Anyway, MP4 has started which is scary because that means APs are coming and Junior Year is ending. BUT that's still a good 2 weeks away so I still have time to prepare.
Sadly, I didn't even start this yet, but I plan on starting it this week!
I am FINALLY reading the second book in the Inheritance Trilogy! I read the first book The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms last year and it was sooooo good! I'm kind of bummed that it doesn't follow the same character but at least same time I'm really loving the new narrator. Also, these covers!!!
I received a copy from HarperCollins for review and read it the day after I got it. Unfortunately, it didn't exactly live up to my expectations, but it was still to some extent an enjoyable read.
I am participating in a Blog Tour for this book and my stop is this Tuesday! I still have a good portion of the book left to read () but I'm hoping to power through this book either today or tomorrow.
Perception
I was contacting by the Elephantine Newsletter and asked if I would like to review 5 different short stories and write an alternate ending for one of the stories. I've already read the books so now I just need to pick a story and write a new ending.
And of course, if I could review either The Deal or The Law of Moses sometime this week that'd be ideal...I also still need to put my thoughts together for The Final Empire...
I have a quick little announcement, I was recently featured on the lovely Emily's blog Confessions of a Bookaholic as one the of Top Ten Book Bloggers to Watch. I was excited beyond words when I found out. She requested that everyone share the post so that more people could find out about the blogs! So please do check out the links below to see what other amazing blogs were featured! Thanks again Emily!! ♥♥
So that's my week! Again, I think I've overshooting my abilities but you never know, maybe I'll be able to get through a good chunk of these. If not, I'm probably going to schedule them in the future especially with APs coming along~
Foreverly Obsessed,
