Summary:
It’s been almost a year since Rylie Gresham was bitten by a werewolf on Gray Mountain. Now something is beckoning her back to the place she was attacked, along with every other werewolf in the world. But they aren’t the only ones heeding the call. A group of hunters notices them gathering and sees it as their chance to wipe out the entire species.
Seth is about to graduate high school when he learns of the final hunt. He secretly plans to save Rylie and his werewolf brother even though he has to play along with the hunters to do it. But Rylie doesn’t want to be saved. She’s already decided to solve her problems with a silver bullet if answers aren’t waiting on Gray Mountain.
One way or another, everything is about to end—whether it means Rylie’s liberation or the end of her life…

Hey guys! Welcome to the last review for the last book in S.M. Reine's Seasons of the Moon Quartet! If you haven't checked out the previous three reviews, I will link them at the end of the post! Without further ado, let's get into it!
Out of all the previous books, this one is definitely the most action packed. Again, it starts up a couple months after Long Night Moon ended and the connection was super smooth. Just a heads up, I might unintentionally spoil a bit of Book 3's ending...Anyway, Rylie now lives at a WW (werewolf) safehouse with Bekah, Levi, and Seth's brother and is learning to control her inner wolf. After nearly ---- her aunt and almost losing control, she wants to distant herself as much as possible away from people. Seth takes care of her aunt and writes every week to her, but she can't get herself to write back. Not after what happened.
All the WW start getting these crazy dreams about traveling to Gray Mountain for some ritual and Bekah is the first to actually get up and go which freaks Levi out. A search party is organized to bring her back and Rylie and Abel (Seth's bro) set out together. They head towards the camp where Rylie was bitten and run into some other WW who claim to have been plagued by similar dreams. They also run into some hunters, including Eleanor: Seth and Abel's evil momma.
I'll end the summarizing here to avoid spoilers. In short, WWs are being called to Gray Mountain because the WW gods, in an attempt to save the dying population, are planning to choose an Alpha to reign over the remaining wolves. The hunters see this as their opportunity to exterminate their enemies once and for all and Eleanor is right up in front, aiming to destroy Rylie for leading Seth down the "wrong" path. So there's a ton of action there.
Rylie also comes to terms with herself big time in this book. After what happened in the last book, like I said before, she's trying to distance herself to protect others. In this book, she tries to reestablish the broken relationships and find confidence in herself as a wolf.
I would highly recommend this book, the whole series in fact. The entire series is really great as a WW story because it's different than other WW books that I've read before. It's also completely free as of now on Amazon so that's great! The beginning does start off slow, but it picks up and ends with a great finale!! So check it out and let me know what you all think!!
