It's DECEMBER!

Hey everyone!! I can't believe it is actually December already! The year flew by so quickly yet so slowly at the exact same time! So with the end of the year coming up, I thought I'd do some summarizing for the year of 2014! Before we do that, let's do a summary for the books reviewed in November:

There we go, now onto some announcements! So...Christmas is coming soon and this blog has grown so much this past year, I'm crying inside just thinking about all the support you guys have given us. To show our thanks, I'm thinking about doing a 12 Days of Christmas giveaway where I give away 7 books from 7 different genres. I've already purchased the e-books from eBook.com and 7 lucky winners will win a book for the holidays! Let me know if you guys are interested for something like that! I'm thinking about posting the books and Rafflecopter links sometime this week because I don't have anything else planned. I have SATs on Saturday so I'm not going to be super active this week.

On the topic of 12 Days of Christmas, I want to try to post everyday for 12 days straight with the 12th being Christmas morning. I don't know what I'm going to be doing for the posts, if they are going to be reviews, conversations, etc. If there is anything specific, please let me know in the comments below!

Finally, this is actually not Christmas related! As some may know, I've rediscovered my obsession with fantasy novels and many of them have a ton of books in them. I have something I call Series Commitment Issues where I find it very difficult to stick to a series without losing interest. To kind of keep myself motivated, I'm thinking about doing Quarter Reviews, the name kind of sucks, but I'm working on it! (Suggestions?) Basically, for every book in a fantasy series, I'm going to divide it by 4 into quarters. Every quarter, I do a rating based on my current impression of the book along with a short paragraph "reaction" summary. At the end of every book, I do one final paragraph summary bring the review to 5 total paragraphs and then my final rating. This allows me to keep track of my thoughts for each book more specifically and allows you guys to see a bit into my thought process. I'm thinking about doing this for every single book in a series and then doing a large series overview for my final overall reaction. So I'm going to start those soon because I'm currently reading Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher which is a 6 book series.

That's all I have for this post, thanks so much for reading! Have a fantastic week and keep being awesome!!

Foreverly Obsessed,
