Goddess of the Sea

Goddess of the Sea by P.C. Cast
ISBN: 978-0-425-22688-9
Pages: 342
Appearance:

Summary:
On the night of her twenty-fifth birthday, alone in her apartment, Air Force Sergeant Christine Canady wished for one thing: a little magic in her life. After drinking way too much champagne, she performed, of all crazy things, a goddess-summoning ritual, hoping that it would somehow make her life a little less ordinary...but she never believed the spell would actually work.
When her military plane crashes into the ocean, CC's mission overseas takes an unexpected turn. She awakens to find herself in a legendary time and place where magic rules the land—occupying the body of the mythic mermaid Undine. But there is danger in the waters and the goddess Gaea turns this modern, military gal into a beautiful damsel so that she can seek shelter on land.
CC is soon rescued (literally) by a knight in shining armor. She should he falling in love with this dream-come-true, but instead she aches for the sea and Dylan, the sexy merman who has stolen her heart.

Hey guys! Welcome to my review for Goddess of the Sea by P.C. Cast! I've reviewed Goddess of Light  before and like that book, this one completely blew me away. Loved every single page of it and finished it one car ride sitting. I know, reading on the car is bad for the eyes, but I was just so hooked I couldn't stop! This book is 100% fangirl worthy and absolutely beautifully written. So let's get into it!

Part 1 introduces you to Christine Canady aka CC who is in the air force and has an extreme fear of flying. A bit strange, but then you've to admit this girl has guts when she steps into a plane for her first mission. And, that the plane eventually crashes. Anyway, before her plane accident she was on a break/vacation and thought her life was a boring drag. So she does this little earth ritual asking the goddess Gaea to give her the potential to be who she is. Of course, there's a little champagne involved, but CC never imagined that her little bewitchment would actually work.

After the accident, CC finds herself facing...pause for effect...A MERMAID. Say what? Yup, the mermaid happens to be the legendary and rather tragic mermaid of the ocean. She asks to switch bodies with CC promising that CC will survive the wreck and CC agrees. She gets thrown a couple centuries back in time to when lone monasteries stood watch on cliffs and knights rode horses saving helpless maidens from monsters. In other words, she gets sent back to Medieval Europe. Completely disillusioned and annoyed, CC almost gets raped by a merman (oh yeah, she turns into "Undine") who calls himself her brother. His name is Sarpedon and I don't like him. In fact, I'd like it very much if I could:

Take a deep breath Riv! Okay, moving on. CC escapes and finds sanctuary in the earth goddess Gaea's cove; who also happens to be her mom. It's Greek Mythology, everyone's pretty much related. Gaea promises protection and offers CC a way out of being a mermaid. She must find someone to love her on land, but every third night she must return to the ocean or she will die. Why are these god/goddess spells always involve death of some sort? >.< CC agrees and things get interesting.

She becomes this "refuge" princess of the Vikings at the local monastery. The visiting prince, Andras, immediately "falls in love" with her and tries his best to woo. Then there's Abbott William who is this creepy, sly, scary, oily (don't ask) father of the monastery. He's shady. Super shady. But in the end, you kind of feel like 0.0000000001% of compassion for him, maybe even less.

While "courting" Andras and getting used to the different society and culture, CC also finds herself falling in love with Dylan, Undine's childhood friend, and a merman 100s of rungs below her on the underwater social ladder. First thing is first: Omgawd I need a merman in my life right now! I've been kind of on a Dylan high for days now because ugh, he's perfect. Yes he is, utter perfection. Anyway, their love story is just beautiful. CC is scared and distrustful, but with Dylan every little worry melts away. He makes her laugh and shows her to enjoy life, even if she's stuck in a dark monastery and occasionally turns half fish. It's just...BEAUTIFUL!!
supernatural feels

Maybe that ↑ cleared my ramble up a bit. The ending was just...well, the part before the ending was bad. Like bad bad badddd! Not I didn't like it bad, but it broke my heart into pieces bad. Another gif to kind of clear things up:

It's like you're walking on fluffy beautiful snow and everything's perfect and suddenly FALL! Everything falls apart and you're left wailing your head off. I can't take it! *takes calming breaths* To sum things up, that was a dark moment of the book. >><< The actual ending mended my broken heart and made things right. Like they always do, but this one has a special little twist. I won't tell you what, but I definitely wasn't expecting it and it made the whole story 10x better in my POV.

Yeah, I think that's it. Sorry about the messy rambling and the gifs, I went a bit nuts with this story. It's THAT good! So GO CHECK IT OUT and come back to fangirl with me! This book earned a holy near perfect score of 4.8 out of 5 stars! So I hope you liked this review and I'll talk to you guys in my next post!

“True love is not a potion one person can swallow and another refuse to drink. It happens only when the souls of two join together to form one”

“Remember that I will be here', he said resolutely. 'For an eternity (...). I would wait for you for an eternity.”

“A sense of belonging is not physical. We cant find it by changing where we live or what we do. We have to carry it within us”

Waiting On Wednesday: The World Above

ISBN: 1442403373
Pages: 175
Appearance:
7107790

Summary:
Gen and her twin brother, Jack, were raised with their mother's tales of life in the World Above. Gen is skeptical, but adventurous Jack believes the stories--and trades the family cow for magical beans. Their mother rejoices, knowing they can finally return to their royal home.
When Jack plants the beans and climbs the enchanted stalk, he is captured by the tyrant who now rules the land. Gen sets off to rescue her brother, but danger awaits her in the World Above. For finding Jack may mean losing her heart....

Be prepared, you're probably right! Welcome to the first Waiting on Wednesday of 2014! The World Above came out according to Goodreads in 2010, but I just heard about it while browsing through books. I checked and lo and behold (!) the library system carries it! I've just requested it and I'm super excited to read it.

Jack and the Beanstalk is a classic fairy tale story that every child probably knows. I always felt bad for the giant because he got his things stolen. At one point of my childhood, I even believed, very fervently I might add, that Jack deserved to be eaten for stealing. Ahh, the mind of crazy little me. Anyway, this takes a different twist on the whole story which I think is awesome AND there's a girl. I'm really hyped to see how Cameron Dokey managed to put a heroine as the main character in a very male dominated story. The giant who eats humans is male and Jack is pretty obviously a guy. From what I've been reading on Wattpad, the transformation is pretty well done.

Over the summer while on the plane to Taiwan, I also checked out the brand new movie: Jack the Giant Slayer which I thought was actually really well directed and interesting. I was really discouraged to watch the movie due to the cover, I mean that giant does not look pretty. Well, I guess he's not supposed to, but seriously. Halfway through the movie, I began to change my opinion. Like this book, it puts a different twist on the whole "Jack and the Beanstalk" fairy tale and put a ton more action and drama which I love of course.

Lastly, the cover. I say this a lot, we're not supposed to judge a book by it's cover, but man that cover is VERY influential. For one, I really like her outfit cause I'm a bit obsessed with like medieval dresses and have done my fair share of online window shopping for dresses like that. I mean, they look so cute! Second, her hair. I think they're called milk-maid braids which I've always wanted to try, but failed miserably every time. But I still think they're really pretty. Gen is just standing there with her hand reaching for the beanstalk, the World Above, and her brother. I just think it's so cool!

Okay, I will spare you the rest of my babbling. To sum things up, I'm super excited to read this when it comes and from reviews I've read, I'm almost certain it won't disappoint!!

Top Tuesday: December 2013 Want-To-Read

Hey guys! Welcome to my first Top Tuesday post of 2014! Yeah, you're going to be seeing that sentence: first .... of 2014 a lot for the next month until I've exhausted all options. Anyway, if you follow me on Goodreads (which if you're not, please friend me!!), I have started since last month making a monthly shelf of books that I've read reviews on or heard of that I'm interested in. So for December 2013 I had a total of 37 books that caught my attention and I added. So today, I'm going to share with you my top 10 books (this is going to be challenging) of the list. Wish me luck as I browse and debate! Also, the title links you to Goodreads while the cover links you to Amazon. And last thing, they are not listed in any particular order because my heart can't take all that deciding!

7664345
The summary sounds really cool and the cover's so pretty! Don't judge, I know I'm not the only out there who is influenced to read by a cover! (and title...)

12291438
It just sounds like a very captivating story and takes a more "modern" writing twist on H.G. Wells's classic: The Island of Dr. Moreau which honestly I haven't read, but I really want to now!

16288155
One of my BIGGGG obsession for the longest time has been Celtic mythology. I'm still obsessed to this day and this trilogy (The Danaan Trilogy) focuses on that. Of course I'm hooked!

15752348
I found out about this book through Giselle who blogs at Xpresso Reads. Her review of this story was amazing and really hooked me in. On top of that, another book blogger I follow: Nikki from Fiction Freak also recommended it. So of course I had to give it a try!

15790870
This book really captured my attention because for one, it revolves around one of my favorite sayings: A picture is worth a thousand words.
It also focuses on how one mistake can change an entire person's life and just how stupid, crazy, and sometimes fake, high school society is.

11273366
If you've been following for a while, I think it's evident (?) that I love murder/suspense stories. I came across The Glass Man on one of Goodreads' lists and the summary, cover, everything just caught my attention. Sadly, it's recommended for 18+ so I'm a bit underaged, but once I hit the mark, I am definitely picking this up!

7656231
First of all, this cover is gorgeous. I can't get over how beautiful is looks. Secondly, it talks about angels and I'm kind of addicted to angel books/stories. I've also heard a lot of great things about Suzanne Young's other book: The Program so I'm really eager to try something by her.

9256414
Another obsession of mine is ghosts. I loooove ghost stories! The line that hooked me in from the summary: Can there truly be love after death? The cover is also so freaking beautiful that I just can't. It's too pretty for my head to handle.

10224627
Like I said before, I looove Celtic mythology. What I forgot to say is that I love mythology in general. Native American is definitely a favorite and Shifting revolves around a Navajo legend which is awesome and amazing and I'm hooked. Also, the cover is sooooo cool!

13326795
Yup, another mythology centered story. This one's Greek so at least it's different. I have this crazy fascination with Medusa, I just think she's so cool. I watch too many Clash of Titans and Percy Jackson. (That movie wasn't the best, but hey, Medusa!) It also includes a bit of the 13th Zodiac which has always interested me.

Okay, so that was my Top 10 books of December 2013 that I want to read. I think I might do this every month granted I keep adding monthly to-read shelves on Goodreads which I definitely think I will. I hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you've read any of these books PLEASE let me know what you thought down below! That's it, I'll see you guys on my next post! Byeeee~

Delirium

Delirium by Lauren Oliver
ISBN: 978-0-06-172682-8
Pages: 441
Appearance:

Summary:
Ninety-five days, and then I'll be safe. I wonder whether the procedure will hurt. I want to get it over with. It's hard to be patient. It's hard not to be afraid while I'm still uncured, though so far the deliria hasn't touched me yet. Still, I worry. They say that in the old days, love drove people to madness. The deadliest of all deadly things: It kills you both when you have it and when you don't.
(Back cover)
They say that the cure for LOVE will make me happy FOREVER. And I always believed them until now.
Now everything has changed. Now I'd rather be INFECTED with love for the tiniest SLIVER of a second than live a hundred years smothered by a LIE.

Hey guys! Welcome to my first BOOK review! TPOEMD was a short story and first review and Vampire Academy was a graphic novel and this is a book book review! XD I made no sense, but that is okay. Anyway, I chose this book to be my MP2 English “extra” and I have to say, it hooked me in right away! I finished this all in one sitting, homework completely ignored. That’s how hooked I was. So let’s get into the review!

My first impression of Lena was: Does this girl have no mind of her own?

I guess that's the problem with totalitarian-ish societies. They take over your brain and force you to think like them. It's all an illusion.

Anyway, Lena lives in a society where love is absolutely forbidden. Once a person turns 18 they are given an examination and then date of when they will be surgically cured of the ability to love. Then they are given options of who the government believes is a good match, get married, pop babies, and live an emotionless life. The perfect life. What drew me first to this loveless society was the very idea that love was the mother of all diseases and that these people believed if love was removed from everyone, it'd be a perfect world. Nowadays, that idea is probably absurd. Love is preached in music, literature, life. It'd be horrifying to live in a world that prohibits it, to live in her world.

Lena's best friend Hana was probably my favorite character while Lena lurked in her world of "listen to the government." Hana wasn't afraid to go and try the slightly illegal things, listening to music from illegal sites and going to parties with BOYS. Oh no, the horrified other gender. While Lena stubbornly refused to join, Hana was learning and exploring the parameters of her confined world.

As the story continues, Lena does grow and becomes a more 3D round and relatable character. How? She meets Alex. Ohhh, romance! Alex is a guard for the government. Their first encounter occurs during Lena's examination when a herd of cattle stampede through the building. Slowly, he begins to build her trust until he reveals that he was never cured. The "marks" of his cure were self created so he could blend in. Lena pushes him away and desperately clings to the ideas of society, but unbeknownst to her, she has already fallen a teensy bit in love with him. As she grows and revels in the power of love, she becomes 10x more likable and interesting.

One of the dangers of love is becoming reckless. Alex and Lena explore their new relationship and Alex shows her the world outside the wires and walls of New Orleans. Sadly, a story can't be complete without something bad happening. They get caught. (SPOILER!) With Lena now "infected with deliria" her surgery date has been moved forward so she that she can be cured and saved before going to far. And from there, it all spirals out of control.

The ending, I think all my posts have like "the ending" paragraph freak out. Anyway, THE ENDING. Total crazy cliff hanger that had me crying for more and a resolution. Being the nerd that I am, I searched and read the summaries for the rest of the series. It sounds like a lot of typical boy drama and love triangles and it discouraged me a bit. I'm still really hooked and interested and the ending still kills, but I'm a bit hesitant now. Also, I heard there was going to be a TV show but it didn't go through. Slightly disappointed about that, I think it'd be a great TV show.

With all of that said, I highly recommend this book to all. According to other bloggers/reviewers, the rest of the books are meh, but Delirium is DEFINITELY a great book and you should CHECK IT OUT!

“I love you. Remember. They cannot take it”

“You can't be happy unless you're unhappy sometimes".”

“I'd rather die on my own terms than live on theirs. I'd rather die loving Alex than live without him.”

“I guess that’s just part of loving people: You have to give things up. Sometimes you even have to give them up.”

“Love: It will kill you and save you, both”

“Hate isn't’t the most dangerous thing, he’d said. Indifference is.”

“Love: a single word, a wispy thing, a word no bigger or longer than an edge. That's what it is: an edge; a razor. It draws up through the center of your life, cutting everything in two. Before and after. The rest of the world falls away on either side.”

“Hearts are fragile things. That's why you have to be so careful.”

“The past is nothing but a weight. It will build inside of you like a stone.”

Tazo Teas #1

Hey guys! So I don't normally review food on here, but I thought it'd be cool to do a different review once in a while. So, I don't think I've mentioned this, but for some strange reason I am starting to have this insane addiction to tea. It's getting really bad and out of control cause all I can think about it tea.

So, I recently went to my local Bed, Bath, and Beyond and they have this HUGE wall full of tea. There's Celestial Seasons, Tazo, and a couple others. It's just amazing!! I picked up 3 boxes of Tazo teas with the promise to my mother that I wouldn't go on any tea websites until I finished. Ugh, so hard! But I'm managing so far. So here are the teas I picked up:

From left to right:
Passion, Flowering Honeybush, Peachy Green

Passion:
This was described on the box as a touch of love that'll bring you passion. Well, first thing's first, this is definitely one bright colored tea! I literally poured hot water into my cup and the water turned a vibrant red. I probably soaked it in for about 3 minutes before removing and the taste was super strong and tangy. My cousin used the same tea bag and got an almost same result in taste so it's a lot packaged in a little tea bag.

The taste is certainly very citrus-y and a bit "sour" but in the orange-y way. To be honest, my first reaction was:  because the taste was just so strong and unexpected. This is actually the last one I tried and probably my least favorite of the three. But, I think it'd be a great wake me up on days where I'm falling asleep on my feet because the strong tangy taste will definitely wake me up.

Flowering Honeybush:
This is described as a refreshing drink that'll show you the simple pleasures in life. This is the complete opposite of Passion. While Passion was strong, Flowering Honeybush was very very light. The color was a super light honeyed color. It literally tastes like water with a hint of flower and fruit, but the flavoring is very very subtle. Definitely great for relaxing with a book! ;)

Peachy Green:
This is the only one out of three with actual caffeine in it. 3 out of 5 according to the little bubbles on the front of the box. This is definitely my favorite one out of the bunch. It's got this super flowery smell and when you drink it, there's a subtle hint of of peaches and cucumbers. Yeah, believe me, I was pretty shocked when I first read about the combination, but it turned out to be sweet and refreshing at the same time. Definitely a favorite!

So that's it for my first tea review! I might consider some other flavors next time I visit the store, but I gotta finish these first. Hope you guys like this kind of stuff and it'll appear every once in a while as one of my "other" reviews. Okay, that's it for now! I'll talk to you guys next time!

Vampire Academy: Graphic Novel

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Graphic Novel by Leigh Dragoon/Emma Vieceli
ISBN: 978-1-59514-429-4
Pages: 144
Appearance:

Summary:
ONLY A TRUE BEST FRIEND CAN PROTECT YOU FROM YOUR IMMORTAL ENEMIES...
Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with a rare gift for harnessing the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from the Strigoi, the fiercest vampires - the ones who never die. The powerful blend of human and vampire blood flows through Rose Hathaway, Liss'a best friends, makes her a dhampir. Rose is dedicated to a dangerous life of protecting Lissa from the Strigoi, who are hell-bent on making Lissa one of them.

Hey guys! First graphic novel review on the blog! Wow. I have actually never read any of the Vampire Acadmey stories before so I don't know if reading a graphic novel is a good start. In 8th grade, Claudz and I took a section from Shadow Kissed for our Forensics Duo piece and that is pretty much all the Vampire Academy I was exposed to. Claudz has been bugging me forever to read the series since the movie is coming out soon and she really wants to go. So, I decided to take the slightly lazy way out and picked up the graphic novel. >.< Yeah, sorry, but this gave me a good idea of what is going on which I guess is good. So I have a short-ish review on the book, let's go!

The drawings...I've read a bunch of reviews on Goodreads and many all agree that Lissa looks always ghost like. I remember Claudz saying that she was beautiful and golden and perfect. The Lissa that was drawn is tall and thin with a ghost-like appearance and eyes that look almost a transparent green. From that image, she looks more haunted than beautiful. I would say that Rose was really well drawn? I don't know much about her, but she looks 10x better than Lissa. Not that I can be the one to judge, I have zilch drawing abilities. Dimitri is well...buff, manly...you get the point. Christian is very pale, very Goth looking, but I kind of like him better than Dimitri...which I don't know, but character wise based on the book.

The story line was definitely not what I expected. One of the main reasons I always avoided Vampire Academy was because I am not a vampire genre loving person. I mean, I like the genre and read a lot of vamp books on Wattpad, but when it comes to more known books dealing with vampires, I tend to shy away. Richelle Mead definitely did a whole new spin on the vampire system which I thought was really creative and different. Hey, they didn't sparkle...though Lissa is pale enough. (Sorry Twilight fans, that was kind of mean...) I really liked the whole dhampir idea of guardianship and protection which in some sense, made the Moroi the "weak" ones instead of being all mighty and powerful.

The romance? First of all, Mia is a b....won't finish that word, but she really is. I think she was probably one the most well drawn characters. Her very flaxen looking curls and snobby fashion is perfect to her personality, boring and obnoxious. I really wanted to punch her in the face. Lissa did Aaron a huge favor by compulsing him to break up with her in my opinion. Rose and Dimitri? Like the electricity and hot chemistry, was not expecting almost inapropro scenes (sorry, I like that word) to be drawn, but that's cool. From my Shadow Kiss knowledge, their relationship certainly does "advance." Lissa and Christian. I ship. I don't know why, but it's probably because of my liking to Christian. Plus, at the end when they're a "thing" Lissa looks a lot happier and more "alive" compared to her ghostly self in the beginning which is an improvement to her features.

One thing I wish was mentioned a bit more is Rose's mother. Maybe in the actual novel, she's barely mentioned at all, but in the graphic novel Rose gets an email from her mom and mentions her once to Dimitri. Obviously they don't have a great relationship, but I want to know a bit more.

Okay, so that's my first ever graphic novel review. How did I do? Sorry if I was a tad bit awkward in the writing and all. I've read the Twilight adaption which I believe is by the same artist and I have to say it was definitely drawn better than Vampire Academy in my point of view. This wasn't bad, just the pictures weren't what I expected. Other than that, gave me a good idea of what the story/series is about and I can't wait to see the movie when it comes out.

The Princess Of Egypt Must Die

The Princess of Egypt Must Die by Stephanie Dray
ASIN: B00AE01M5S
Pages: 56
Appearance:

Summary:
Princess Arsinoe came of age in the glittering court of Ptolemaic Egypt. Abused by her ruthless sister, a pawn in the dynastic ambitions of her father, and dismissed by the king who claimed her for a bride, young Arsinoe finds herself falling in love with a young man forbidden to her. She dreams of a destiny as Egypt's queen, but first she must survive the nest of vipers otherwise known as her family.

Hey guys! I believe this is my first novelette/short story review of 2014! Actually, it's the first review of 2014! Whoo! I've read the first book of Stephanie Dray's The Nile Series: Lily of the Nile which was an amazing book that really sparked my interest in Egyptian history. I was scouting Amazon for some fun reads when I came across this novelette. The title itself sounds really interesting, after all, it's saying that the Princess MUST die. Second, the cover looks absolutely stunning which is another bonus although we should never judge a book by its cover right? Last, it's free! Yes it is, like all my Amazon book reviews so after reading if you're interested, just go ahead and click the cover. Enough said, let's get into the review!

This story, which heads up, I'm shortening to TPOEMD because it's easier for reference, focuses a lot on the character growth of Princess Arsinoe. At the beginning, she was this soft-hearted kind girl who was viewed as "weak" by her mother and those at the Egyptian court. When she was arranged to marry the King of Thrace, she meets his illegitimate son, Cassander, and he becomes one of her close friends in her new home. At Thrace, she meets her other stepson Prince Agathocles who tries to make a move on her almost immediately. Due to her soft nature, she struggles to find her place at court and in her new family. She connects with her step daughter who insists on being called Bunny as a way of forming one of her first close female relationship.

Now what's a good historical fiction story without some court scandal? Remember Cassander, well there's a little romance around him and Arsinoe. Arsinoe stubbornly refuses to admit her feelings and tries to keep away. Cassander is a stable boy, she is the Queen of Thrace, it's no hope. Yet we all know that love is not one to be slighted with. She eventually gives in and meets him, only to be betrayed by the ones who called themselves her friends.

To prevent any spoilers from getting out there, Arsinoe learns that court and the royalty is no place for a love, kindness, trust, or any of those "good" virtues to exist. Everyone is thieving, cynical, sly, and out to get their own. The ending exemplifies her growth from a girl to a woman. It depicts her determination to no longer be trampled upon by other and to become Queen of Egypt one day. In short, the person who she was, a princess of Egypt, died with....not finishing that sentence.

Of course I couldn't be left with that information only. With the wonderful help of Wikipedia, I found out that Arsinoe did indeed become Queen of Egypt through a joint marriage with her brother. After her first husband died, she married her paternal half brother, but the marriage didn't end so well. She fled to Egypt where she married her brother (full blood relation) and became Queen of Egypt. She was influential and made an impact on Egyptian culture and society. Here's the link if you're interested.

So that's it for my review. Definitely a great start to the New Year I think. Yay! Let me know what you think down below and if you haven't checked out Stephanie Dray's other books, you should check them out ASAP! They're good! Well...Lily of the Nile was AMAZING and I expect nothing less from Song of the Nile.

Happy New Year!

Hey everyone! Happy 2014! I can't believe that 2013 is already over, it feels like only yesterday. >.< Now I have to start writing 2014 in my notes and that's going to take another 6 months to adjust. Anyway, here are the books that we've reviewed in December of 2013!!

Now instead of December Favorites, I thought I'd share some of my New Year's Resolutions. To be honest, I'm not that good at carrying out my New Years Resolutions, but I thought since this year was kinda BIG for me, might as well start to make that change. So here are my blog related resolutions:

  • 1-3 book reviews/posts as week (I'm really hoping this can happen, but it all depends on how much time I have to read and review.)
  • At least 1 of each special featured post per month (I know I made the promise to do a week of featured posts every month, but some days I couldn't find the time to finish the posts.)
  • Accept book request! (Just send them in!!)
  • Build up the blog and maybe a blog interview? (I've been considering this for a while...because I really want to see what others think of the blog.)
  • Official email/social media account (Still debating, but you never know)
  • Make tons of new friends! (Friends are cool!)
  • Write more on Wattpad (I really want to build my writing skills because then I can write better reviews for y'all!)
So that's it for me, I'm super excited for the brand new year and I am determined to make it one of the best! After all, it's a special year for me. ;)

Love you all and hope you have an amazing 2014!!
